Heavenly Hemp Protein Balls - 100% Plant based.

Its no wonder why these delicious morsels are becoming an increasingly popular recipe rolling all around the internet. These nutritious plant based, energy balls are a perfect post work out snack or energy boost during your trek up the mountains. You can pretty much bring them anywhere and they don't even require a oven to make. Talk about an ideal summer recipe, if you're anything like me, the oven is a last resort during those hot summer days.
This is a recipe that literally requires very little effort, all you need is a large mixing bowl, wooden spoon, measuring cups/spoons and your hands.
Hemp it one of the best plant proteins out there. Its earthy, nutty flavor also makes it perfect for this combination sweet treat.
1 1/2 Cups Rolled Oats
1/2 Hemp Protein Powder
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbl spoon hemp hearts
1 tbl spoon chia seeds
1/4 - 1/3 cup raisins or any dried fruit you like.
1/2 cup nut butter of your choice, i like cashew.
3 tbl spoon maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
2-6 tbl spoons of Hemp milk or (any other milk substitute or water.)

In large bowl mix oats, protein powder, cinnamon, hemp hearts, chia seeds and raisins. Make sure this is evenly mixed. Add in all the remaining wet ingredients.
Stir and combine till evenly mixed and then start rolling into balls. If you want to go the extra step you can pick your favorite topping like shredded coconut, cocoa powder or hemp more hemp hearts and roll the ball to coat the outside.
voila! done. Store in fridge. Easy, great tasting snack.
